What happened on the first meeting of the clan?

OH! Very disappointed. That was how other members felt, especially who went in this said meeting, because only few attends. Yet we still discuss the agendas for that meeting. So, these are some of the pics I've took:

Wohoo!! I, as the online admin, added some features of this clan in order for our members to be more active. So, I decided to make these features. These are the following:

End: April 30, 2009

Criteria:

• Anyone can join here, guided that he/she is a bonifide member of Envirotect.
• Rated as the most active member of the month (both in mobile, online, and event participations)
• Nominations are open and every member would have their nominations and would cast their votes ONLY in these ff sites: (a)Official Group Blog, (b) Facebook Envirotect Group, (c) Facebook Envirotect Fan page, (d) Envirotect Social Network
• Cast your votes only in the designated place to where you should post so that it would be counted.
• Nominations will be close 3 days after it was opened and the voting process will only last for 2 weeks after the nominations were closed.

ENVIROTECTORS JOURNEY

A journey with the clan called "Envirotect Clan" Part I.

Hi everyone! This is Chaerin of Envirotect Clan. As one of the builders of the said clan, I never expect that this would become more serious. I thought that having a clan is just for fun. Before, we thought with my friends, who are not members of this clan, that having a clan is just a waste of time. That was I was having a conversation with my friends. We were able to talk about that clan thing because we saw lots of people gathering in the park of Iligan City. We really thought of negative things about having a clan. However, it was changed when we built this clan, a clan for a cause.

At first, the name of the clan sounds silly which i will not mention. I really wasn't in my mind when i decided buildin a clan. But I first consulted my friend. That was marked March 20, 2010. My co-founder Markzman didn't replied to my text messages but I still continued the clan. The members where more than five(5) by the next day when i realized what its purpose. I told myself that there was NONE!!

Our online administrator, Koenig, who was not yet a member of the clan, kept on asking about a topic in a blog. So, I thought of something interesting, a topic for a cause and nice to hear. The marked March 22, 2010, the born of "ENVIROTECT CLAN". I invited Koenig and Broken_Death. Both are interested about having a clan. Our motto and goal of a life time is, "we protect the environment at all cost".

With the help of broken_death who is our spammer, I learned more things about having a caln. March 23, 2010 was the born of the clan's staffs----the founder- chaerin, my co-founder- markzman, our sms administrator-Jazz, our online administrator-Koenig and our spammer-Broken_Death. All of us are not well oriented about holding a clan. However, we have a goal and we must achieve it with teh help of our members and with the help of our dear Lord God who is guiding us from the birth of the clan.

The clan became larger in numbers of its members. As of today, the number of our members reached 30. Some of them we knew and some are not. But we are desired to know each of us. Every Friday, the clan is having fun using sms.

As the time passed by, the clan had a problem for the first time. We noticed that the clan's members are getting inactive. I chatted with my friend one time and we talked about the condition of the clan. he said that if the members are inactive, it reflects to the leader. So, he concluded that i am not a good leader. Base on my consultation to a good friend of ours, he said that when you say a good leader, you can unite your constituents, integrity and good governance wherein good management is present. I then asked myself, "How can I do that?"But then i realized that there is a friend of mine who kept on supporting me and the clan.

So now, marked your calendar....This coming Monday, April 12, 2010 which is tomorrow...the envirotectors will first meet each other.

Merge: An issue towards change

The founder of ENVIROTECT already planned to have a merge to another organization which should not be mentioned now due to its tentative reasons. Recently, the founder and its administrators had started to talk about this issue and to start consulting the members of the said clan. To merge or not to merge, this clan and its goals will remain as is.

1. A member must love taking care mother earth.
2. A member must always welcome the new member of the clan either on line or mobile.
3. (sms) A member must  sent her/his group message in logging in and out of the clan.
4. A member must participate to the topic prepared by every member every Friday night.One member is assigned on Friday before the next.
5. A member must recruit one or more after a week of staying in the clan.
6. A member will be kicked out after either two meetings or two Fridays consecutive absent.
7. Invalid reason for being absent is not accepted.
8. A member must know his/her purpose in joining the clan.

What is envirotect?

From the word "environment", which means the physical, chemical and biological conditions of the region where we live.
And "protect" to defend, fortify and guard.
From the name and purpose itself, ENVIROTECT means protecting the environment with the help of us, people. -forsythia-

This blog aimed to inform to the people the importance of protecting the environment. Our environment nowadays suffers from the global warming.

through blogging, the simple youths can voice out to the people what they are thinking about the situation of the environment today.

Envirotect is a clan composed of the youths of Iligan City, Lanao Del Norte, Mindanao, Philippines. we hpoed that our clan will be supported by the higher-ups.
